Rescue 404

WORDPRESS MANAGEMENT

Someone to manage my WordPress website — an owner on the stack

You do not need another freelancer who disappears after a plugin update. Rescue 404 Care puts a responsible operator on your WordPress stack: managed hosting (when eligible), supervised updates, checked backups, monitoring, and scoped technical support.

Website Care from $199/mo · $299/mo standard for most established sites. Broken sites start with Rescue first.

THIS IS YOU IF

Signs you need someone to manage WordPress

Not a redesign. An operator who owns the stack.

  • Nobody owns the stack

Host, plugins, backups, and “who answers when it breaks” are four different people — or none.

  • Your developer builds, then vanishes

Great for launches. Not great for Tuesday morning update fatals.

  • You are the accidental webmaster

You run the business; WordPress maintenance keeps landing on your calendar.

  • Cheap maintenance plans that do nothing useful

Unchecked backups, blind updates, and a ticket black hole when something fails.

  • Shared hosting blocks real ops

You cannot supervise updates or restore cleanly on a locked shared plan.

  • You want continuity, not redesigns

Keep the site you have — with someone responsible for keeping it healthy.

WHAT WE DO

WordPress management that is actually operations

Updates, hosting, backups, monitoring, and scoped support — not status-email theater.

  • Ongoing WordPress management

Core, plugin, and theme updates under supervision — not set-and-forget auto-updates that take the site down.

  • Managed hosting included (eligible Care)

Most WordPress and WooCommerce Care seats include our managed hosting environment so we can actually operate the stack.

  • Backups you can restore

Checked backups and a restore path — not a zip file nobody has ever tested.

  • Scoped support when something needs a human

Included request allowances for day-to-day technical problems. Not unlimited live chat, redesign, or content editing as a service.

PROCESS

From “someone should manage this” to an enrolled stack

Stabilize if needed → fit review → migrate when required → operate.

1

Confirm the site is stable

If WordPress is down or broken, start with a Rescue diagnostic first. Care enrolls healthy (or recently stabilized) sites.

2

Care fit review

Tell us what you need managed. We confirm platform fit, hosting eligibility, and the right plan — Maintain, Manage, or Protect.

3

Migrate when required

Eligible Care normally includes standard migration into our managed hosting. Shared/cheap hosting is not Care-eligible as-is.

4

Operate and respond

Updates, backups, monitoring, and async support requests on a clear monthly plan — with a named practice behind the ticket.

SITE BROKEN RIGHT NOW?

Stabilize first — then put someone on management

If the site is offline, locked, or failing after an update, start with a paid Rescue diagnostic. Once it is stable, Care is the ongoing owner on the stack.

MANAGEMENT FAQ

Before you open a Care inquiry

Repair vs Care, pricing, hosting, and support limits.

Is this the same as hiring a WordPress developer? +
No. Developers build features and redesigns. Care is ongoing operations: updates, backups, monitoring, hosting (when eligible), and scoped technical support so the site you already have stays healthy.
What if my site is broken today? +
Start with Rescue — paid diagnostic, then a fixed-scope repair quote. Care enrollment expects a working (or just-stabilized) site. We will say so in intake.
How much does WordPress management cost? +
Care starts from $199/mo (Maintain). Most established small-business sites sit on Care Manage at $299/mo. Protect is $499/mo when downtime hurts revenue faster. Yearly prepaid is 20% off.
Do you manage sites on shared hosting? +
Lasting Care requires our managed hosting for eligible WordPress/WooCommerce seats. We can often repair on shared hosting first, then migrate when you enroll. Details: Shared Hosting & WordPress.
Is support unlimited live chat? +
No. Support is async tickets with included request allowances by plan. Routine updates, backups, and monitoring do not burn that pool. Redesigns, content editing, and marketing work are out of scope.
Can my designer keep the creative relationship? +
Yes. Designers and agencies often hand off maintenance while keeping the client. See For Designers / For Agencies — clients enroll in Care directly.
